About Isis River
Isis River is a rural locality in the Bundaberg Region, about 9 kilometres east-southeast of Childers, through which the Isis River flows before joining the Burrum River. The surrounding area has a strong sugarcane and cropping heritage dating to the 1880s, with the Isis Central Sugar Mill established in 1897 and the Bruce Highway passing through.
