Ross Creek is a small rural locality in the Gympie Region of south-east Queensland, located in the Mary Valley hinterland about 25 kilometres south-west of Gympie. The area is characterised by rolling hills, creek flats, and small rural properties used for mixed farming and grazing. Gympie provides the nearest schools, shops and health services, and the surrounding hinterland connects to the Sunshine Coast region to the south.
