About Canina
Canina is a rural locality about 11 kilometres north-east of Gympie in the Wide Bay region. The gently undulating plains and eucalypt woodlands of the Gympie Region characterise the area, which was settled following the 1867 Gympie gold rush and supports timber extraction and small-scale farming. The Gubbi Gubbi people are the traditional owners.
