Redgate is a rural locality in the South Burnett Region, situated about 10 kilometres south-east of Murgon. Fertile black soil creek flats along Barambah Creek support cattle grazing and irrigated cropping, including lucerne and potatoes, with the locality formerly known as North Barambah.
