About Paterson (Qld)
Paterson is a rural locality in the Fraser Coast Region of Queensland, about 42 kilometres north of Gympie. The area covers about 29 square kilometres of grazing country bounded by the Mary River and the Gundiah State Forest, with the North Coast railway line passing through.
