About Gregory River (Bundaberg - Qld)
Gregory River is a rural locality in the Wide Bay hinterland of Queensland, roughly 50 kilometres south-west of Bundaberg. Named after the tributary of the Burnett River that forms its south-western boundary, the area supports sugar cane, macadamia nuts and citrus on fertile subtropical soils. Bundaberg provides the nearest comprehensive services and is a short drive east along regional roads.
