About Bucca (Qld)
Bucca is a rural locality in the Bundaberg Region of Queensland. In 1887 land was resumed from the Kolan pastoral run and offered for selection as small farms, and a state school served the district from 1889 until 1964. The Invicta Sugar Mill operated near the Kolan River in the locality until it was relocated to Giru in 1919.
