About Brigooda

Brigooda is a rural locality in the South Burnett Region of Queensland, north-west of Kingaroy. Originally known as Lawson, named after pastoralist Alexander Robertson Lawson who established the Boondooma pastoral run in the 1840s. The area consists of grazing country and natural bushland, near Boondooma Dam and Cania Gorge National Park.
