About Durong
Durong is a rural locality at the western edge of the South Burnett Region in Queensland, situated where the Chinchilla-Wondai and Mundubbera-Durong roads meet. The area supports broadacre cropping and grazing across gently undulating country. The Durong Dingo Sanctuary, a purebred dingo conservation facility, operates near the locality, and the heritage-listed Burrandowan Station Homestead reflects the district's pastoral history.
