About Araluen (Qld)
Araluen is a residential locality on the northern edge of Gympie in Queensland's Gympie Region, about 4 kilometres from the central business district. The locality is home to the Gympie Regional Council Saleyards, which handle around 60,000 cattle annually, and Victory College, a private kindergarten to Year 12 school established in 1980 on the site of the former Gympie cattle yards.
