About Antigua
Antigua is a rural locality in the Fraser Coast Region, south-west of Maryborough and Hervey Bay. The Mary River forms its eastern boundary, and the North Coast railway line passes through the locality; a former Antigua railway station is now abandoned. The area is historically connected to the Antigua sugar plantation and surrounding dairy and pastoral districts.
