Shirbourne is a rural locality in the Shire of Burdekin in North Queensland, about 38 kilometres west of Ayr and 54 kilometres south-east of Townsville. It sits at the foot of the Clarke Range, where the Haughton River forms its eastern boundary and the area lies in the transitional zone between the Burdekin's coastal sugarcane plains and the rugged tablelands to the west.
