About Mount Elliot (Qld)
Mount Elliot is a rural locality in the City of Townsville, Queensland, about 30 km south-east of the Townsville central business district, containing the mountain of the same name, which rises to 1,218 metres. The entire locality forms part of Bowling Green Bay National Park, home to the Alligator Creek waterfall.
