Ross River is a rural locality in the City of Townsville, Queensland, about 45.6 km south of the Townsville CBD. The Ross River forms the locality's western boundary, and Lake Ross, a reservoir created by the Ross River Dam, occupies much of the locality. The land is largely undeveloped.
