About Eight Mile Creek (Qld)

Eight Mile Creek is a rural locality in the Shire of Burdekin in north Queensland, roughly 130 km south-west of Ayr, named after the watercourse that forms part of its eastern boundary. Officially named and bounded in 2001, the locality is used almost entirely for grazing on native vegetation.
