Broughton is a rural locality in the Charters Towers Region of Queensland, Australia, located six kilometres south-east of Charters Towers. Bounded by the Flinders Highway, Burdekin River, and Broughton River, it was a historical mining town. The Great Northern railway passes through Sellheim.
