About Bohle
Bohle is a northern suburb of Townsville, about 12 kilometres from the CBD. The southern half is dominated by the Bohle Industrial Estate, a major hub for warehousing, transport and trade businesses serving North Queensland, while the northern half is a restricted Australian Defence Force facility. The suburb takes its name from the Bohle River, named after pioneer Henry Mackinnon Bohle.
