About Bambaroo
Bambaroo is a rural locality in the Shire of Hinchinbrook, approximately 27 kilometres south of Ingham in the Burdekin region. The area has two distinct parts: low-lying flat land used for sugarcane growing, and mountainous terrain rising to 980 metres that forms part of Paluma Range National Park. The Bruce Highway and North Coast railway line pass through the flat section.
