About Airdmillan

Airdmillan is a coastal locality in the Shire of Burdekin, bounded by the Coral Sea to the east and drained by Kalamia Creek and Plantation Creek. Its name derives from a local sugar plantation, combining the Gaelic word ard meaning high with the surname of plantation owner Archibald Campbell MacMillan. It sits about 7 kilometres north-east of Ayr.
