About Brandon
Brandon is a rural town and locality in the Shire of Burdekin, Queensland, Australia, located 6.4 kilometres west-north-west of Ayr. Named after sugar pioneer Henry Brandon and surveyed in 1882, the town is a sugar cane farming community on the Burdekin River delta coastal plain.
