About Spring Bluff

Spring Bluff is a rural locality in the Toowoomba Region of Queensland, named after a spring water and sandstone bluff. The heritage-listed Spring Bluff Railway Station was built in the 1860s as a stopping place during the steep climb from Brisbane to Toowoomba. Its landscaped gardens are a feature of the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers. In 1942, a thousand troops marched from Borneo Barracks to the station to deploy for World War II.
