About Lower Tenthill
Lower Tenthill is a rural locality in the Lockyer Valley Region, approximately 7.5 kilometres south-west of Gatton. Named after a pastoral property established by 1845, the area sits within the fertile Lockyer Valley, one of Australia's most productive vegetable-growing regions. Tent Hill Lower State School, opened in 1873, is one of the oldest schools in the valley and remains in operation.
