About Birnam (Toowoomba - Qld)
Birnam is a small rural locality in the Toowoomba Region, situated about 10 kilometres north of the Toowoomba central business district. The area takes its name from a railway station, which was in turn named after the village of Birnam in Scotland. It sits between the established residential areas of Highfields and Gowrie Junction on the northern outskirts of Toowoomba.
