About Valdora
Valdora is a rural locality in the Sunshine Coast Region of Queensland, between Yandina and Coolum. The name comes from Val d'Ora, meaning Golden Valley. The area was part of the Yandina cattle run in the 1850s and later supported timber-getting, fruit growing, dairying and sugarcane, with a state school operating from 1918 to 1949.
