About Ninderry

Ninderry is a rural town and locality in the Sunshine Coast Region, Queensland, Australia, located three kilometres north-east of Yandina. Its name derives from the Kabi Aboriginal word 'nyindur', meaning 'place of scrub leeches'. Mount Ninderry, rising to 312 metres, is a popular hiking destination. The locality features rural residential properties and agriculture near the North Maroochy River.
