About Boreen Point
Boreen Point is a rural locality in Queensland on the shores of Lake Cootharaba, the largest lake on the Noosa River system and a nationally recognised spot for sailing and windsurfing. The small town of Boreen lies within the locality beside the lake, but the name Boreen Point is the one in common usage, and the town is home to the historic Apollonian Hotel.
