About Karron

Karron is a remote outback locality in the Shire of Croydon in the Gulf Country of Far North Queensland, where cattle grazing is the principal land use. A number of creeks, including Walker Creek, Fish Hole Creek, Wills Creek and Rocky Creek, flow from west to east through the locality as tributaries of the Norman River, which drains to the Gulf of Carpentaria at Karumba.
