About Irvinebank
Irvinebank is a historic tin-mining town in the mountainous western foothills of the Atherton Tablelands, within the Shire of Mareeba. The town dates from 1882 and is home to the heritage-listed Irvinebank State Treatment Works, preserving its late-19th-century mining character, with the Great Dividing Range forming its south-eastern boundary.
