About Woodford (Qld)
Woodford is a rural town and locality in the City of Moreton Bay, Queensland, on the D'Aguilar Highway about 73 km north of Brisbane. First settled in 1841, it was long a dairy and timber town, and it is now best known as the home of the Woodford Folk Festival, held at its showgrounds over the New Year holidays each year.
