About Yalboroo
Yalboroo is a sparsely settled rural town in the Mackay Region, situated on the Bruce Highway about 71 kilometres north-west of Mackay and 55 kilometres south of Proserpine. The town centres on a former railway station on the North Coast line and is surrounded by cattle grazing properties and tropical bush in the Whitsunday hinterland.
