About Pindi Pindi

Pindi Pindi is a small rural locality in the Mackay Region of Queensland, situated approximately 54 kilometres south of Mackay along the Bruce Highway corridor. The locality is used almost entirely for sugar cane farming, bounded by Blackrock Creek and Catherine Creek. The name is believed to derive from an Aboriginal word meaning creek or flowing water.
