Scottville is a small town in the Whitsunday Region of Queensland, located 4 kilometres south of Collinsville in the Bowen Basin coal-mining area. Developed as a company township by Bowen Consolidated Coal Mines, it was originally proposed to be named Scottdale before being changed to Scottville.
