About Lake Proserpine
Lake Proserpine is a rural locality in the Whitsunday Region of Queensland that surrounds the reservoir of the same name on the Proserpine River, created by the Peter Faust Dam. Built between 1986 and 1990 for flood mitigation and irrigation, the dam supports grazing and crop growing across the locality.
