About Sarina Beach
Sarina Beach is a coastal town in the Mackay Region of Queensland, about 10 kilometres north-east of Sarina and 36 kilometres south of Mackay. The settlement fronts a wide sweep of golden sand on the Coral Sea and is popular for swimming, fishing and beach walks. Between October and January, the beach is a noted site for nesting turtles. The nearby Sarina Sugar Shed and the broader Serenity Coast area add to its appeal as a low-key holiday destination.
