About Grasstree Beach

Grasstree Beach is a coastal locality in the Mackay Region of Queensland, about 30 km south of Mackay, containing the towns of Grasstree and Zelma. The area was originally part of Cliftonville Station, and gold discoveries in the late 1880s led to the establishment of the small mining town of Zelma in the 1890s.
