About Glenden

Glenden is a mining town in the Isaac Region, about 150 kilometres south-west of Mackay. The town was developed from the mid-1980s to service the German Creek underground coal mine. It sits near the town of Nebo and the Pioneer Valley, surrounded by rolling hills and open forest.
