About Elphinstone (Isaac - Qld)
Elphinstone is a grazing locality in the Isaac Region of central Queensland, on the Suttor Developmental Road. The Isaac River rises in the north of the locality and flows past Mount Ewan and Leichhardt Gorge into Lake Elphinstone, which once supplied the now-abandoned town of Elphinstone.
