About Broken River
Broken River is a rural locality in the Mackay Region of Queensland, where the Broken River watercourse flows through the Clarke Range. Much of the locality lies within Eungella National Park, a tract of subtropical rainforest known as one of the best places in the world to observe platypuses in the wild. The Broken River visitor area offers platypus viewing and walking tracks.
