About Ball Bay
Ball Bay is a secluded coastal rural locality in the Mackay Region, about 35 kilometres north-west of Mackay on the Coral Sea coast. The low-gradient sand beach with frontal dunes is popular for camping, beach fishing and flatback turtle nesting in summer months, and the area borders Cape Hillsborough National Park to the north. The Yuwi and Yuibera people are the traditional owners.
