About Habana
Habana is a coastal rural locality in the Mackay Region of Queensland, Australia, located 20 kilometres north-west of Mackay along the Coral Sea. Named after the La Habana sugar plantation and mill, which operated from 1883 to 1901, it supports sugarcane farming and grazing, and features the heritage-listed Habana Tramline Causeway.
