About Mount Gipps

Mount Gipps is a rural locality in the Scenic Rim Region of Queensland, on the border with New South Wales. The locality takes its name from Mount Gipps, which rises to 785 metres on the border as part of the McPherson Range. Running Creek, a tributary of the Logan River, flows through the valley, and the locality marks one end of the Queensland rabbit-proof fence.
