About Chinghee Creek
Chinghee Creek is a rural locality in the Scenic Rim Region of Queensland, located about 40 kilometres south of Beaudesert and 109 kilometres south of Brisbane. Adjacent to the Lamington area and near Lamington National Park, the landscape features rural farmland and bushland typical of the Scenic Rim. Chinghee Creek State School operated from 1912 to 1973, and the area is a quiet rural community within reach of the renowned mountain scenery and World Heritage-listed rainforests of the Scenic Rim region.
