About Southern Lamington
Southern Lamington is a rural locality in the Scenic Rim Region of Queensland, bordering New South Wales along the crest of the McPherson Range. It lies entirely within Lamington National Park, part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area, where subtropical and cool temperate rainforests, including Antarctic beech, clothe the plateau of the ancient Tweed Volcano.
