About Crestmead
Crestmead is a mainly residential suburb with an industrial estate in its western portion. The flat terrain sits on low-lying land along a tributary of the Logan River, with parkland extending through the area. Settled by Swedish immigrants in 1885, it is adjoined by Marsden to the north and Browns Plains to the northwest, and lies roughly 30 kilometres south of Brisbane's CBD.
