About Thornton (Qld)
Thornton is a mountainous rural locality in the Lockyer Valley Region of Queensland, bounded by the Mistake Mountains to the west and the Little Liverpool Range to the east. Situated about 25 kilometres south-south-west of Laidley, the area supports farming and cattle grazing in one of Queensland's most productive agricultural valleys.
