About Ingoldsby
Ingoldsby is a rural locality in the Lockyer Valley Region, about 18 kilometres south of Gatton. The area sits within the fertile Lockyer Valley, known for its rich basalt soils and intensive vegetable and horticultural production as one of Queensland's premier market gardening districts. Originally named Hessenburg, the district was renamed during World War I and lies roughly 43 kilometres south-east of Toowoomba.
