About Summerholm

Summerholm is a rural locality in the Lockyer Valley Region of Queensland, about 59 kilometres west of Brisbane. The area holds historical significance as the site of celebrations for the opening of Queensland's first railway line from Ipswich to Grandchester in 1865. Situated in the fertile Lockyer Valley, known as Australia's salad bowl, Summerholm supports vegetable growing and grazing on its rolling rural land.
