About Riverview (Qld)
Riverview is a residential suburb of Ipswich in the City of Ipswich, Queensland, located approximately 11 kilometres north-east of the Ipswich CBD and 31 kilometres south-west of the Brisbane CBD. Named after its railway station, which was itself named for the views of the Brisbane River, the suburb is bounded to the north-east by the Brisbane River. Riverview railway station provides Queensland Rail City network services to Brisbane CBD, Ipswich and Rosewood. The Moggill Ferry, a vehicular ferry service, crosses the Brisbane River from Moggill to Riverview on demand. The suburb includes Riverview State School and St Peter Claver College.
