About Peak Crossing

Peak Crossing is a rural locality split between the City of Ipswich and the Scenic Rim Region of Queensland, Australia, located 20 kilometres south of Ipswich. Named after a road crossing on Purga Creek near Flinders Peak, the area has been a farming community since the 1860s. It features Peak Crossing State School (1871) and is near the Flinders-Goolman Conservation Estate.
