About Limestone Ridges
Limestone Ridges is a rural locality in the Scenic Rim Region, about 26 kilometres south of Ipswich. Named for a limestone outcrop now mined for dolomite, the land is predominantly used for grazing on native vegetation with some cropping. The Ipswich-Boonah Road runs along the eastern boundary and Limestone Ridges Road is the main north-south route through the area.
